Hi everyone, I'm using Word 2003.

I have a feeling this isn't possible--at least, not without a macro or
something like that, if at all, but....

Is it possible, somehow, to copy ONLY underlined text in a Word
document to the Clipboard? I don't care if it retains the formatting
or not when I paste it elsewhere.

If it is possible, what is the procedure? Thank you!

Use Find to find the underline format and turn on the option
"Highlight all items found in" and click "Find All". Then close the
Find dialog box and Copy the selected text.

If you are not familiar with using Find:

- Press F5 to open the Find dialog box
- Click the "More" command at the bottom
- Click Format/Font
- Select your Underline style

Yes, you can do this:

1. Press Ctrl+F to open the Find dialog.

2. In the (empty) "Find what" box, press Ctrl+U. You will see Format:
Underline.

3. Click the More button and check the "Highlight all items found" box.

4. Click Find all.

5. Click outside the Find dialog and press Ctrl+C.

6. Place the insertion point where you want to paste the collected items and
press Ctrl+V.

7. Close the Find dialog (you can do this before pressing Ctrl+C provided
you're careful *not* to click in the document before copying).
