Why would you want to CC yourself, unless it is to an email address other
than the one you are sending from?

As soon as I send the message to myself it goes into my sent box but never to
my inbox..I do not receive any error message nor bounce message.

And are you working in an Exchange environment or POP?
If Exchange, is this address outside the Exchange domain, and if so, can you
send to any other address outside the Exchange domain?

Catherine,
One of the very first questions in this thread to you was about your
AntiVirus program and I didn't see an answer. ?? What are you using , if
any? Can you refresh us if you told us before.

Norton Antivirus

Norton is likely causing your problem.

Replace Norton with the free AVG http://free.grisoft.com/ or Avast
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html, and Windows Firewall and Windows
Defender. Disabling Norton is not enough. You need to completely uninstall
it. If it doesn't solve the problem, get rid of Norton anyway. Norton is
known to cause many problems in Vista and they don’t always appear
immediately.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool.
