copying music files from library

I cant seem to copy any file from the media player library to the my music
that in mt documents. i also cannot find the music files anywhere. i can
only access them by opening the media player. i used to be able to do this
when i had an older version of media player, but now i cant. HELP!

THe music files are not in the media player. They are most likely in
your My Music folder. The folders that WMP monitors are listed under
Tools > Options >Library.

If you have WMP v10, then if you right-click on a track, you can open
the folder where the track is stored.
 
i knew to look there and they arent there...
