Copying from Win98

Currently have an old Win98 PC.
Soon getting a new WinXP-Pro PC.
Want to copy files from one to the other via an Iomega ZIP USB device.

1. Can this be done?
2. Are there any incompatibilities between the file formats?

There shouldn't be any problems. WinXP can read/access any file system
formats that Win98 can create.
