I would like to back-up Email and Contacts from Outlook 2003 to Outlook
2002. .pst files don't seem to want to do it. Both machines are netwroked,
is there some way I can do it there or what is the best way?

"pst files don't seem to want to do it" means what? Document your problems.
Did you create an "Outlook 97-2002" PST so it would be compatible?

File>New>Outlook Data File>Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst)

Copy anything you want to transfer from the current PST to the new one.
Close the new one and transfer it to a network share accessable to the other
computer. On that one, in Outlook use File>Open>Outlook Data File. All
done.

Thanks, that was the problem, I didn't make an Outlook 97-2002 pst file, I
just made an export in outlook 2003
