Copying from filtered lists

I've just copied some entries from a filtered list to a seperate sheet
within a workbook as I needed to do some extra work on the selected fields.
However, I have found that any formulae are converted into values. Is there
any way around this to preserve the original formulae?

after you paste the selection to the desired location,
right click again (where the selection is pasted and it's
highlighted) and go to 'Paste Special' and
select 'Formulas and number formats'.
