copying formulas when using a macro

I am setting up a macro to run a number of tasks and one of which is to copy
data into a new worksheet based on a given criteria, then creating a formula
in another column in the new worksheet based on the list copied. The problem
I have is that the no of records listed can vary and so I only want the
formula to copy down to the number of records that are there. How can I do
this? Hope this makes sense - can anyone help?

development programme. You will have a better chance of getting good
help if you post your question to an Excel newsgroup.
