Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help.

I go into "my computer"

Select a file

Click on "copy this file" on the left

The "copy items" box is displayed but there is the problem......

The box only displays A) at the top "Select the place where you want to copy
xxxxx Then clickk the copy button" and B) at the bottom "To view any
subfolders, clck a plus sign above" and C) three buttons "make new folder"
"copy" "cancel".

The rest of the box is COMPLETELY blank.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem as the box should also allow me
to specify a location to which to copy the file.

Many thanks,

H

Rather than going to "my computer", maybe go to "drive c"--assuming you
are already in Windows Explorer. Find the file you wish to copy.
Right-click it. A dropdown list opens, where you select with left-click,
"copy". Then, on the folder into which you wish to copy it, right-click it.
In this dropdown list, left-click "Paste". Done! Into that folder is now a
copy! HTH, s

Hi H,

I hoestly have no idea what i scausing the problem you mention, but I have a
better way of doing a copy that you could try.

1. In explorer click once on the file you want to copy so that it is selected.
2. press "Ctrl + C", thats press the Ctrl key and while it is still held
down also press the "C" key
3. Select the destination folder in explorer
4. Press "Ctrl + V" thats press the Ctrl key and while it is still held down
also press the "V" key.

The file should be copied by this process.
You can select more that one file at a time to be copied, by holding the
Ctrl key down while clicking on many filenames. The CTRL+C will mark them all
for copy and the CTRL+V will do th copying to the newly selected location.

Hope this helps
