I have a new computer and a new copy of Outlook, please
how do I make copies of my existing messages in outlook,
and transfer them to my new computer. I have imported
the .pst but only the folders and not the e-mails
themselves were imported. I have a cd writer on each
computer, but am not networked together.

Thanks

How have you managed to import the folders and not their contents? they all
live in the one pst file!

Is it posible your inbox email is still on the email
server? Are you on a home computer or through an Exchange
server?

Do NOT import/exporty anything. Simply burn a copy of your old pst file on
a cd, put the cd in the new pc and then copy the pst to the new cd. Change
the properties of the pst on your new pc to remove the "Read Only"
attribute. Open the pst with Outlook. You'll have everything on the new
pc that was in the pst on the old pc, since you _have_ the old pst on the
new pc.

I am on a home computer, so the inbox is on my machine.
I can't understand why my folders were copied and not the
contents?
