Copying documents

How do I undo the copying or backup of my documents. Everytime I make a new document I get a copy of it?
 
If you're using Word, under Tools, Options, select Save - You will see the Save
Options section.
Uncheck if it is checked - always create backup copy.
If the above is not relevant, perhaps you should post to the relevant NG.
