I am having trouble copying a formula that contains a CONCATENATE function to other cells in the same column. The original formula uses relative references and gives me a correct result. I copy the formula via Paste Special-formula to the other cells, but I get the same result in the new formula cells as in the original formula cell. I've checked the new formulas, and they all use the correct relative cell references, but the formula results are not correct.

go to tools><Options><calculate> and select <calculate
now> and insure you are set for automatic calculate.

It may be that You are not automatically calculating.

Thanks! You were right, but that brings up another question: Excel is no longer holding onto my Auto Calculate setting. It appears that everything that was set up with a default of Automatic is now Manual. Do you know of some global setting somewhere that may have been corrupted somehow?

I just learned that this problem is occurring to other users.
