How do I copy audio tapes to cd. My new car doez not have
a tape player. I would like to copy "books on tape" that I
purchase to a cd that I can play in the car. Can you tell
me what what I need to do to accomplish this. I have a CD-
RW instaled on my PC and I hve a tape deck that I can
attach for the audio inpt. I am running XP Professional.
Thank you.

Hey, That is simple to do...

Go purchase MS PLUS Digital Media Edition, then after
installation, You need to play your cassettes into your
Computer thru your soundcard, Line-in, mic, whatever...
Then run the program "Plus Analog Recorder" it will
adjust the volume, save it to the hard drive, and then
you can burn to a CDR. I have used it just for the that
same reason, to burn Audio books, and a neat feature is
you can split things up into smaller tracks for indexing.
Its a bummer, if you burn a whole cassette as one track
on a CDR and you want to listen to a certain part over,
or pick up where you stopped at and have to start the
book over.

I hope this helps you.
