By pressing "print screen" and opening word and then pasting from the clipboard, you can make a file copy of what is then showing on the PC screen.

THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR A DVD when the movie has been paused to stop.
The pasted copy shows the media player surround but the screen of it is is blank..no picture.
Any ideas of how a still "copy" can be made from a DVD SCENE??

You could try a screen capture utility such as SnagIt (www.techsmith.com).
