copy text from somewhere else and paste to 2003 email outlook

i copy text from somewhere else,and paste to 2003 email outlook,body
and comes up into an icon square. and NOT as text as it should be..
any suggestions, i'm getting very very annoid???????????????/
 
You are not giving us much information to go. Please specify source and
target format (plain text, HTML); is it possible that the source is
Unicode (multibyte), and the target is not?
