Copy sheets with more than 255 chars in a cell?

I have MS Excel 2002 SP2. It truncates data in cells to 255 when copying a
sheet. Does a later version copy the entire contents of each cell?
 
xl2003 still truncates.

But I can go back and copy the cells and paste the formulas to get those long
values.
