Copy protection problem with DVD playback on WinXP

Hi. I really need help. Just upgraded my PC. Installed
WinXP and DVD Burner -TDK DVDRW0404N-. Can't seem to play
my DVD movie. Each time error with copy protection
appear. Face this prob when I wanted to play my Maksim CD
(it has copy protection technology built in). Both DVD
and CD won't play. I'm at my wits end. Please help.

What DVD Burner software and Playback software do you have installed?
To play DVD movies you need third party software such as PowerDVD.
