'Copy' & 'Paste'

When using the 'copy' and 'paste' facility within Word 97, a screenshot is pasted into my document, rather than the text selected!
 
Hi,

Have you tried clearing the clipboard in Word ?

If not try doing that and if it still happens,close Word, search for the
word template file (normal.dot) in the hard disk and rename it.

Try reopening Word and check out. Please do revert back if that doesn't
help.
