Hi there

has anyone ever heard of a condition where copy-paste doesn't work in
Windows2000? Suddenly I can't copy paste anything at all - files in
explorer, text in an editor....

For example, if I right-click on a file, a context menu lets me select
"copy", but the corresponding "paste" menu option is disabled. How do I
enable it again?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I rebooted my system, and it worked fine
again after that. Now I'm wondering if it was a website I was on which was
advertising a protection system for websites - so it was difficult to copy
the content of a website. Perhaps it disabled the copy-paste feature in
windows to prevent browsers from copying the site?

(It was http://www.weblockpro.com/home.php if anyone is interested.... and
I've just viewed the site again, and sure enough the copy-paste function
stops working).
