I used to open windows XP address book and copy and paste a contact into MS
word document I was working on or paste into an email or into MS Notepad.
This feature was soooo quick (I mean really really quick) and sooo
convenient!!!! Vista windows contacts does not do this. Why did they
change this???

Is there a way to copy and paste a contact from Vista windows contacts into
MS word document or paste into an email or into MS Notepad? If not, is
there a quick and convenient way to accomplish the same thing but in a
different way?

Thanks for the help

As far as copy\past to notepad, I have not found a way. You can export the
contacts in either .cvs or .vcf format. Open mail\file\export\windows
contacts. Then you can choose which format to use. The cvs exports all
contacts to a spreadsheet (such as Excel). The vcf format will export all
contacts to a folder you designate. How ever they are exported as
individual files (100 contacts = 100 individual files), and you have to
choose each individual contact to open it.

This works with OpenOffice so I imagine it will work with MS Office.

Export the contacts to a csv file and open it with MS Office. Save it and
copy and paste from it as needed.

Another approach would be to copy and paste from "To:"
