Please be specific:
- Are the PCs connected in some way?
- If yes, how?
- Do you have a suitable portable medium?
- If so, Zip disks, memory sticks, tapes, other?

Several ways to accomplish this depending upon the state of your PC
environment and your skill level.

If you do not have a network set up, then try copying files off 98 system to
a CD.
if no CD Burner on the 98 machine: then
does it connect to the internet?
If yes, then email files to yourself one at a time.
If this is beyond your comprehension get a mate over to help you.

Another option is to unplug the hard drive from the 98 machine, plug it into
the XP system and copy all the files you want.

Then remove the 98 Hard Disk and put it back.

start > prog > accessories > system tools > files settings and transfer
wizard follow the instructions old computer or new computer
select old computer and follow as wizard says
