how can I copy a screen capture of an error screen in a post?

If the error message is in a message box, click the error message to give it
focus, hit Ctrl key + C key to copy the error message and paste the error
message into a message post.
Here is an example...

i did that, copied it to desktop as bmp. right clicked, hit copy. in the
post, paste was not highlighted.

You are using CDO, not a newsreader, and you cannot paste or attach any
files of any kind. That is why I posted the other method first.
