Copy entire System from one Harddrive to Another?

Does anyone know if it is possible to copy everything from one harddrive to
another
larger one in the same computer. If so, what would I need to do to prepare
the new harddrive for the transfer? There shouldn't be anything on it,
except possibly a
few stored pictures. Thanks for any help!
