How do I export email folders that contain subfolders to
a Network drive.

EXAMPLE:

I have a folder that is named CUSTOMERS. Inside that
folder there are 25 subfolders with company names. Inside
those folders there are 25 subfolders in each with
individuals name. There are also emails in each folder
and subfolder at every level.

I want to copy the entire "customers" folder to a network
drive without having to copy each subfolder one at a
time. The emails export in .RTF.

I can do this at the subfolder level but there are a lot
of subfolders. When I try to copy and save the
entire "CUSTOMERS" folder it does not work. Is there a
way to chose all the documents within "Customers" at
every level and duplicate my Outlook folders on a Hard
drive?

Any thought's?

Thanks !!!

Have you tried to archive the folder tree to the network
using a .pst file? What format were you looking for?

One approach is to copy your PST to the netwoork drive. Nothing more
complex is needed. If, however, you don't want your Calendar, Tasks,
Contacts, and other items copied as well (they're all in that same PST),
then open a new PST (File>New>Personal Folders File or Outlook Data File,
depending on your version of Outlook) and copy the CUSTOMERS folder to that
PST. Close the PST and copy it to the network drive. You're done.

Stay away from Export/Import!
