Hi. I have two notebook computers. I am using Outlook 2003. I want to copy
the e-mail addresses (about 100 addresses) that I have recorded in a special
folder and put these address on my other notebook computer (for use in the
othe Outlook 2003). How can I do this? Please explain in easy English.
Thanks.

Hi Rebecca,

You can try to use this way, it's works for me.

1.Start Outlook --> Import and Export
2.Choose --> Export to a file
3.Create a file of type : Comma Separated Values (Windows)
4.Select the file export from --> Contact
5.Save exported file as somewhere (or your desktop , up to you)
6.You will have one file name : bbadd.csv
7.Copy this file to another computer
8.Start Outlook --> Import and export
9.Choose Import from another porgram or file
10. Select Comma Separted Values (Windows)
11.Select the file which you just export (bbadd.csv)
12.import to the Outlook

Do not follow this advice.
Importing and exporting are never the correct way to transfer Outlook data,
especially when you change file formats along the way. It is only a good way
to lose or corrupt data.
Simply copy your Outlook data file and open it in the other installation.
The file you need to copy is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where
all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup:

Not necessary and export/import should be avoided whenever possible.

Thanks, Russ, but the *.pst file is huge (actually I found two of them), and
all I want to copy is about 100 e-mail addresses. Any advice?

Best thing to do is simply create a new PST file just for the purpose of the
transfer.
Copy only your Contacts into that PST file. Then open it in the other
installation.
