hi
i need a code which will make a back up of my database when i exit my
database.
c:\Database.mdb

c:\Backup\BackupDatabase.mdb

Also if it is possible to format the name of the new file like " Date+name of
Database".mdb

you can partly use code from my backup solution:

but instead of CompactDatabase method use API function, like from here:

i copy the module
i put a button in my form and at the event i call the function

Just call fMakeBackup from your button event proc, and code will do the rest
