When I use ctrl + c to copy and ctrl + v to paste text from one document to
another, most of the time when I paste I get a small graphic that says "pdf"
and not what I want to paste. So, I go back and hit ctrl + c to copy 2 more
times and then I can paste what I copied. This happens for all users on my
system. Any idea as to what is causing this? Thanks!

Sounds as if you may have an Addin registered that's doing this. You
unfortunately don't mention which version of Word is involved...

OK, if you hold down CTRL you can start Word in Safe Mode.
Do you still see the same thing, or do Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V
behave as you'd expect?
