Copy and paste

Copy and paste on my HP omnibookxe4500 don't work. I have reloaded XP,
service pack 2 and did a windows update that installed 47 patches.

I have reloaded XP from the CD's that came with the laptop. Even now before
instaling any other programs it still doesn't work. I can copy a file, but
when i want to paste, the paste option is not available.
 
I have found the problem. I went and had a look what was on the clip board.
On the clip board was a screen print of what on the screen was at that time
and it was refreshing very often to a new screen print... in other words...
the print screen button got stuct some where... after removing the button,
cleaning the keyboard, the problem was sorted...

Glad you solved it!

However, you might want to consider an external keyboard.
Keyboards are cheap, and if you have a usb port and / or a
ps/2 port, you can plug in an external keyboard. That would
also help as a TEST of your laptop's keyboard.
