Copy and Past disable

Someone could help us to discover why the commands copy
and past come to be unavaiable after the some operaions
on Windows 2000 server and professional ?

Every servers and wkrs already have the SP4.

And are security patches installed?
Have you scanned for virusses, e.g. blaster?

We use here the McAfee Virus Scan v4.5.1 SP1
Definition 4.0.4306
Engine 4.2.60
In other words, we are using the last virus definition

I scanned the drivers for virus but I didnt, find
anything.

Could be the pacthes ?
