Copied table from web page and unable to delete the colour

WinXP SP2, Word 2003

Hi,

I copied a table from a website and pasted it in word. It gave me a table
which I'm able to modify except for the background. The background is blue
and does not show in the table properties. Properties for the borders and
background are empty yet I still have this blue background.

Any ideas how to remove this?

No but I copied the table into another empty document with the special paste
option and selected formatted text (RTF) instead of HTML and the blue
disappeared!
