cooling fan error at start up, windows takes forever to load

i installed a ethernet card and removed the fan for cleaning in my dell ,now
windows will not load until f1 key is pushed , i have cleared all message log
several times, i can not clear the error

You didn't mention what model of Dell computer you have. The proprietary
CPU fans on many Dell computers have a 3-wire connection to the
motherboard. The third wire tells the motherboard whether the fan is
working properly. If the fan is not working properly the BIOS will
present a warning message.

You need to replace the original CPU fan or purchase a replacement
directly from Dell. (Good luck finding a third party fan with the same
wiring.)

Your other alternative is to use a third party fan, inwhich case you'll
have to get used to seeing the warning message every time you boot your
computer.
