Cookies not working?

I'm using IE 6, all service packs and updates installed.
Recently, I am having to login to all websites even when
they normally do not require it. It is acting as though
all cookies were deleted, but when I login in again to all
websites they still require me to login again within the
next few visits. The cookies may work for several minutes
even when opening a new browser, so I dont think its
deleting them when I close the browser, and I can see them
in the temp internet files. I have reset IE to default
settings, and even re-installed it but it still seems to
save my settings. I have not changed anything that I know
of regarding security levels (Default Medium) or cookies.
Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem. It started two days
ago, and I've been searching for answers. I finally
found this newsgroup, and was going to post about this,
when I saw your post. I'll be watching to see what
people say, but if you find the answer before I do,
please let me know how to fix this issue.

That didn't help, or at least not me, and I'm having the
same issues that person is. The problem is the
the "good" cookies, that we actually need/want to work,
aren't working. In my own case, I know that they work
for a minute or two. As long as I stay at the site that
is, then the cookie for that site works. And I can close
the browser and come right back and it still works. But
if I wait longer than a minute or two to go back, then
the cookie's are gone, and I have to relog in. This only
just started about 3 days ago, as they worked fine until
then.
