i recently re-installed win2k.

should i copy the 'cookies' files from my old install in the new 'cookies'
folder? i would suppose if the filenames happen to be the same i would say
'no' to the copy but that way it would pickup any from websites i havent
been to recently? or just dont worry about it.

thanks.

I wouldn't bother with that. These files are usually too volatile to be
backed up or copied. In any case it doesn't hurt to clean out these
cookies once in a while. You'll end up with more than enough cookies
soon enough. Your frequently visited sites won't remember your settings
so you'll have to do that again.
