"Converting WMV and AVI format to CDA format"

Can that be done and if so HOW? I need help. I have some of the WMV and AVI files that I need to convert to CDA format somehow. I have a friend who sings karaoke and she needs them. The songs that she has been using is in the CDA format which seems to be all that her machine can use.

Is there a special program I need? I have a cd burner and I can burn other music just fine. I can also burn the WMV and AVI format to a cd but it won't work on her machine.

To convert most file types the WM9 Series encoder should work,you can down-
load from windows media web page,then in the encoder select,convert audio or
video.
