I'm trying to make an audio cd using various videos
(Simpsons episodes for long trips). Some files easily
convert, but others show errors (says: "0xC00D1199: Cannot
play the file" and gives me a list of file types supported
by Windows Media Player).

Unfortunately, it seems to be ok with one .mpg, but won't
accept another .mpg. It also rejects a .avi.

I've tried changing the extension (to .wmv, .wav, etc...),
but to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.

I've had similar problems with some audio files I tried
to burn. What you might want to try is resampling the
files. Use an MPeg Writer program and it'll reconvert to
the file format you want and will resample a file
(example - original mpg doesn't work so you would
reconvert back to an mpg file). Hope it works for ya! :)
