In "Handout Master", I added my header and footer information. All is well
while I am in PowerPoint but when I convert the file to pdf, the header title
prints okay but not the footer.

What is going on?

Thank you.

It sounds as if the footer's getting cut off. What page size do you have
specified in the Acrobat job settings?

Also, did you select "fit to page" when you go to File|Print in PPT?

Finally, which version of Acrobat are you using? Which version of PPT?

Hello: I had selected "fit to page" and still it wasn't working. But your
comment that the "footer's getting cut off" led me in the right direction. I
went to the handout master and sure enough, the footer, although visible, was
at the very edge of the page! I dragged it up to be closer to the bottom
edge of the slides, still leaving a bit of a margin and voila!! It worked.

You did it again.

This is a wonderful forum. Thank you.

Nice work, both of you.

Bruna, if you don't want to change the layout of your notes/handouts/slides, you
can almost always open the finished PDF in Acrobat and change the document crop
settings so that they don't crop things you don't want cropped.

The exact location of the setting depends on your Acrobat version, but have a
look at:

My PowerPoint PDFs are cropped; footers, page numbers, dates are missing

Wow, thanks all of you! I was having problems when I printed my Powerpoint
to PDF. The Powerpoint was an 8.5 x 11 page but the PDF kept ending up as a
7.5 x 10. I did a search here and found your conversation. I opened the
crop settings and lo & behold! That's what was messing with my page size.
Thanks!!
