Converting from xp outlook 2003 calendar to VISTA

Does anyone know of a way to migrate from outlook 2003 calendar and task to
VISTA?

Outlook 2003 works fine on Vista (I'm using it for the calendar), why not
use it?
It's probably better than Windows Mail & Windows Calendar.

If you are upgrading to Outlook 2007, I imagine that it would import your
info.

I know, but I am trying to move away from having to pay and chase the upgrade
of office 2003 while I am perfectly ok with Windows Works/Mail/Calendar that
comes bundled with the operating system. Thought with the move to VISTA, now
is as good a time as ever to make the change.

The Calendar in Vista won't accept Outlook 2003 data - it's a stand-alone
program.
