I just purchased a digital audio player, that supports
MPEG 1/2/2.5 Layer3, WMA, WAV (ADPCM), with 256MB built
in memory. I have the following questions:
- which one of the supported format is the most
compressed, so I can have more audio files in the memory.
- all my audio files are MP3 on my PC and how do I
convert it to the most compressed format above.
help!

Converting MP3s to WMA will only make them sound worse. Your best options to
re-rip the CDs. If you choose to use WMA, you may get by with using a lower
bitrate than 128Kbps.
