I loaded Office 2003 on my laptop after i had already
loaded it on my desktop. When i tried to register it it
said that i can't load it on more than one system. Then i
tried to go revert back to Office XP and now Outlook says
it can't open my "information store" file. Is there a way
to convert my OST file from outlook 2003 back to outlook
XP?

OST or PST? There's a big difference - OST files are used for offline access
to your Exchange mailbox. PST files are used mainly by standalone
(non-Exchange) Outlook.

Did you create a new PST file in Outlook 2003 using the new unicode format
(larger file size)? If so, you will need to open that file in Outlook 2003

No, once you change your profile with an .ost file, it is "toast." Why
couldn't you activate Outlook on your laptop? Did you try the telephone
method?
