Converting file

Hello,
I received a file in a .doc format and the print it so very small. I can
enlarge it on the screen in WORD but can't print it out larger. Is there any
way to convert the file to a .tif, .gif, or .jpg format ? Any help is
greatly appreciated because it is the floor plan to my new house.

Maximize MS Word windows, center the contents, and use Ctrl-
Printscreen keys to copy the screen to clipboard, open MS Paint, paste
it there and print it.

Sorry, its a crude way but it should work.

Thanks - I tried your instructions, but nothing happened when I used the
Ctrl-PrtScn keys. Any other suggestions?

If you can "enlarge" it in WORD, you presumably have the WORD program,
and have *opened* the file using it. After opening the file in WORD,
it should be a simple matter to format it, as follows.
Change View to "Print Layout".
Go to File > Page Setup, and adjust Margins and Paper size to your
liking.
"Select all" with Ctrl+A, and then use Ctrl+] (right square bracket)
to increase font size, and Ctrl+[ to decrease it if you have exceeded
the size.
If there are graphics in the *.doc file, you can most probably
increase or decrease their size by clicking on them and pulling on the
corners with your mouse.
 
Hi,
Did you open MS Paint and pasted into it, after pressing Ctrl-PrtScn
keys? I can't think of any reason why this would not work. I just
tried the same and it worked for me.

The shortcut is Alt-PrintScreen not Ctrl-PrintScreen
 
Nope. Both work but differently.

"Alt-PrintScreen" is for capturing active app window to clipboard.

"Ctrl-PrintScreen" is for capturing full screen (everything on the
screen).

PrinstScreen = Captures full screen
Alt+PrintSreen = Captures current window

Nope.

Alt-PrtScrn captures the active Windows

PrtScrn alone captures the whole screen
