If you still want to *retain* the original formula in the original sheet,
you could copy it to another cell, and then copy this cell to itself as a
value. and then copy the value to this new sheet.
*Select* the *entire* formula in the formula bar,
Right click the selection and choose "Copy",
Hit <Enter>.
Click in an empty cell and "paste".
You now have a duplicate formula that you can convert to a value.
Right click in this duplicated cell and choose "Copy".
Right click again, and choose "Paste Special".
Click "Values", then <OK>.
This cell is now a value, which you can copy to "wherever".

How can I take an equation and convert the answer to an actual number
example - =a5*2 the answer lets say is 6. I want the 6 to show up as an
actual number, so I can then take it and move it to other spreadsheets,
without having to take the whole equation.
