Converting an mde to an mdb

I received a database that I am supposed to fix, but it is an mde. The
person who sent it to me is on vacation, any ideas on converting the mde
back, some back door or something.

Is not allowed the revers-engeneering.

Find the original mdb database and work from that. Hopefully, he saved
it onto a disk.

Can't be done. The original source code is *gone*.
