I took a PDF file and saved it as text. I then saved it as a .DOC but in the process I lost the format on the entire document (64 pages).

Does anyone have a solution? I would like to be able to save the .pdf as a .doc and not lose the format.

Anything saved as plain text loses its format. If you have the full version
of Acrobat 6.0 you can save as Word directly. With Acrobat 5.0 you can save
as RTF, which Word can open. In both cases the quality of the result depends
on the complexity of the original: PDFs can be created from documents that
can't be represented well in Word anyway.

If you don't have the full version of Acrobat, then creating a Word version
isn't so easy. Scanning is one possibility. There are shareware and freebie
clones of Acrobat, but I don't know whether they do Word conversion.
