I have a program called Visio which I use frequently for drawing and
planning various household build type projects. It is currently
on 14 diskettes. I just thought to myself that it would be better
stored on a disk. My concern is what would I need to do in order to
have it install from a CD versus the 14 diskettes.

Have you tried any of the other responses?

That's odd. I check this newsgroup daily and I haven't seen any other
replies but one, which requested the contents of any .ini files which I
posted. Nothing since then, that's why my repeated posts.

No luck so far. I wish to reinstall on an XP system so am not looking for a
solution that applies to some other WIN version.

Best suggestion that I have is to first copy the diskettes to hard
drive.

1. Create a new folder called Visio Work on your hard drive.
2. In that folder create 14 subfolders named disk1 to disk14
3. Copy each diskette to the folder named for it.
4. Copy the 14 subfolders and their contents to a CD.

You will probably have to manually direct the "change disk" prompt to
the next folder during the install.

This approach doesn't always work but it is worth trying.

Good luck
