My new system has Windows XP (incl. Quattro Pro, Wordperfect 11) and I cannot open a database I created using Windows 98 (Works) from my old system... it says it doesn't recognize the extension (.wdb) and I cannot locate any program that will allow me to convert this database to one that XP will recognize. Thanks for the help!

The Works file extensions are program specific, not operating system
specific.

- If you still have the old computer, open the files and then use Save As
to save them in a format that is useable by your new programs. Transfer the
newly saved files to the new computer.

- Install Works onto the new computer. Either convert the files and
uninstall Works after you've confirmed the conversions were successful. Or
continue to use Works on the new system for managing the Works created
files.
