Convert Text Box

Is there any way to convert a text box to just plain text? I have a pdf file
that some software converted to a series of text boxes. I would like to
track my changes, and that doesn't work in my text boxes. However, when I
copy the text box's text to a new document, I can then track the changes. I
know I can copy and paste from each text box, but I have a lot of them. Is
there a faster way?

You can convert the text boxes to frames. All text features should work
in frames.

In my version, to do the conversion, I select the text box, double-click
to bring up the Format Text Box dialog (also on the menu when the text
box is selected), and there is a Convert to Frame button at the bottom
of the Text Box panel in the dialog. Your version may be slightly different.

Thanks for your response. I did some more experimenting and found that the
track changes does work in the text box. I don't know what the problem was
earlier.
