I have a report with drawing of lines etc. After converted to Word XP, the format has been corrupted. The lines are disappeared and layout has messed up a bit. Please advise the proper way to convert and if there is any function can help.

AFAIK, lines are not converted.
"Messed up" layouts are often associated with overlapping controls, or data
which is too long to be displayed in the control.

The built-in export to Word feature doesn't support lines, or any type of
graphic. But Stephen Lebans has some (free) utilities that may solve the
problem for you at the following URL ...

Hi MacDermott

I don't quite understand your meaning because the report displays very well in Access preview mode

Hi Brendan

Thanks for your suggestion. I will try and let your know the result.

It is often quite possible for a report to display very well in preview
mode, but output poorly.
Access's native report viewer can handle the situations I mentioned in my
earlier post much better than the export utilities do.

In fact, just today I was troubleshooting a report which looked fine in
Access, but didn't export properly.
Changing the height and/or width of the textbox seemed to fix it.

I have studied the code written by Lebans. Is it possible to modify the built-in button of Access to run the function of Lebans? If so, please advise how can I add a new button to the toolbar. I tried to drag and drop, but it is not allowed.

Place the code behind a custom function and then call that function from
the Action prop of the custom Menu/ToolBar item. The Help files show you
step by step how to add a Custom item to a Menu/Toolbar.

Is it possible to modify the button "Office Links" or "Publish It with Microsoft Word" ? I find that the modify selection is dime for these button.
