Convert .pdf file to a workable excel file?

I have an excel file that was revised and sent back to me as a pdf file in
adobe...How can I save it as an excel file so that I can use it?
 
Hi
very diffcult and it would involve a lot of manual work. So best to ask
for an original XLS file
