I hate when I know the answer has been provided many times and I just wasn't
paying attention. :-)

I have received a Corel Presentation v10 file. I'd like to convert it, if
possible, to PowerPoint. It's mostly text and a few images, so as
conversions go it should be fairly simple. Open Office was involved,
right???

And Steve...the "here" link at http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00000.htm
is broken.

That's ... uh ... by design. What? Not buying it, huh?
Actually that link is to an orphan HTML file.
I gotta clean some of that wreckage outa there.

I think the trick with Corel Presentations was to have the creator save to
PPT from the Corel app.

Maybe "outdated" was a better descriptor. :-)

That's kinda where I ended up, too. A simple bullet-point pres with a couple
images here and there, and the CP converter calls the presentation corrupt
when converting to Ppt 97. Slick software, for sure. My guy will try to
convert out to Ppt 95, then he'll resort to cut-n-paste.

Thanks!
