Conversion of TIFF to JPEG

I have lots of image files in TIFF format that I would
like to convert to JPEG.
Is there a way to do a mass conversion of many files
rather than opening one at a time and doing a "Save As"?

can do a batch format conversion:

Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro both have "batch"

capabilities and 'actions'.
You can set up an action (record keystrokes), then apply
to all images in a folder, then go to lunch!
