Conversion OE to OL

On converting from OE (WinXP Pro) to OL 2003, the received date displayed
when showing the contents of folders in the InBox is the date of conversion.
Is there a way to fix this, or re-convert but retain correct dates?

yes. Export FROM Outlook Express, not import TO Outlook.
